Document processing for management covers four moves: capturing every document that comes in (quotes, orders, invoices, proof of delivery), reading it to extract its data, reconciling that data across documents, and alerting when something does not add up.

Concretely, a supplier invoice arriving by email is recorded, its amount and references are extracted, then compared with the order and the proof of delivery. If everything matches, it follows its circuit. Otherwise, someone is notified, with the document and the discrepancy in view.

From 1 September 2026, every company established in France must be able to receive electronic invoices, under the reform led by the French tax administration (DGFiP). The obligation to issue follows, in September 2027 for SMEs.

That calendar changes the nature of the subject: invoices will arrive natively as structured data. A company equipped to read and reconcile them turns a regulatory constraint into a production gain; a company that prints them out to re-enter them pays twice.
